Terms of Service

1. Our Services

Light & Kaki Studio ("we," "us," or "our") provides creative digital services including web design, web development, graphic design, and motion graphics to clients primarily in Singapore.

Our services are provided on a project basis with clear scope, timelines, and deliverables outlined in individual project agreements.

2. Project Process

Initial Consultation

We begin every project with a consultation to understand your needs, goals, and expectations. This helps us provide accurate timelines and pricing.

Project Agreement

Before starting work, we'll provide a detailed project agreement outlining scope, timeline, costs, and deliverables. Work begins only after agreement and initial payment.

Collaboration & Feedback

We value your input throughout the project. Regular check-ins and feedback sessions ensure the final result meets your expectations.

3. Payment Terms

• 50% deposit required before project commencement
• Remaining balance due upon project completion
• Payment terms: Net 14 days for Singapore clients
• Late payment may incur additional charges
• All prices are in Singapore Dollars (SGD) unless specified

4. Intellectual Property

Client Ownership

Upon full payment, clients own the final deliverables created specifically for their project. This includes custom designs, code, and content we create.

Portfolio Rights

We retain the right to showcase completed work in our portfolio and marketing materials, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Third-Party Assets

Any third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) used remain subject to their original licenses. Clients are responsible for ongoing license fees where applicable.

5. Revisions & Changes

Each project includes a specified number of revision rounds. Additional revisions beyond the agreed scope may incur extra charges.

Major scope changes require a new agreement and may affect timeline and costs. We'll always discuss these with you before proceeding.

6. Cancellation & Refunds

Projects may be cancelled by either party with written notice. Cancellation terms:

• Work completed to date will be invoiced
• Deposits are non-refundable after work commences
• Final deliverables require full payment
• Reasonable notice period appreciated for project planning

7. Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the total project value. We're not responsible for indirect damages, lost profits, or business interruption.

We maintain professional indemnity insurance as required by Singapore business regulations.

8. Support & Maintenance

We provide basic support for technical issues within 30 days of project completion. Ongoing maintenance and support packages are available separately.
